Morning Dream.

Sleep in the ocean and let the dark prevail.
Hold your light away.
Let me sink into the cradle of unconsciousness and comforting silence of my imagination in the twilight.
Sound waves slacken, weightlessness, and no thought, mind and body one, soaring and blissful.
May I feel breath on my shoulders, nuzzling on my neck and a warm belly against my back.
In this stillness, two hearts are born in a dream.
May I turn to see my soul in your eyes, your kiss the brush of an angel’s wing upon my cheek.
This dream so lucid is still fleeting, but the will says no, and I hold all sensations hostage.
As my eyes open to the new day, may the dream of it end and become my reality.
