Try Guiding Your Energy higher
It’s Not Always Good to Go with The flow.
In our’s and nature’s physical designs lies perfection.
Think of it.
Our bodies’ systems all work together so that we can eat, breathe, think, and move, amongst other things. Nature has oceans, mountains, water, and magnificent creatures. It even rains so that we have water to drink.
You don’t have to think of the creator as a personal God, but you can’t deny there’s something out there, some master who has shaped all life, people, trees, cats, dogs, oceans, you name it.
We are all energy manifest and we all come from the same source. We are created out of goodness and light and it is our true nature and spirit.
But even in this paradise, life happens.
In our struggle to survive, and fit in, we can become disheartened. It might feel like life’s not worth living.
We feel a void form where we should feel connected and whole. We feel cut-off from nature, one another, and our source. Our innate beauty and the natural beauty of the world is obscured. We flounder and in our struggle to survive, grasp at what is closest or most easily available.
Sometimes we’re just trying to stay afloat and what looks like a buoy is really an anchor.
I can attest to that personally.
We might go with the flow and reach for the bottle or drugs or another unhealthy coping mechanism that will make matters even worse. Or we can mend our ways and choose a healthy way to cope, such as when we do yoga, meditate, run, listen to or play music. Been there, done that, too.
We then feel fortified, like ourselves, and we can face the world. We’ve found our spiritual sweet spot. We will lose this spot, but we now have away to keep getting back to it. A good way.
We are physical beings having a spiritual experience. And at this point it enlivens us. This is where we want to be all the time. It is home base. And there’s no place like home!
We know and feel we are a part of something bigger, and more than just our bodies.
We’ve found our energy and we are using it wisely.
The Nature of Energy
Energy is subtle and a shift can move it in another direction
Take sports for instance. It can be any sport, but I’ll use hockey.
Your team is down by three goals and the arena goes silent. Then suddenly, your team scores a goal and the energy shifts. You are energized by your team and your team in return is “pumped” because of the spectators.
They are so pumped, that they score another goal. Then the building is exploding with the vibrating energy of the fans and the team, aka the energy shifts. You can feel it.
In football this could happen with a turnover. In baseball, with a double play or a grand slam.
You’re ready to lose, concede defeat and suddenly you win! And it’s that pass, that slip up or that fraction of an inch on a bat that changed it all.
But this happens in real life as well.
You find your way back to it again and again, and then like any journey, it becomes a habit, a place you can find while you’re half asleep.
Then it’s time to start a new journey, to share this knowledge and energy. Because many, in trying to find their way back, become more lost.
It’s kind of like love, you give it away and you end up having more.
Pay It Forward
Once you’ve figured it out, it’s time to pay it forward.
It’s not only good for others, it’s good for you. When more people in the world have found their way, it’s a better world for everyone. It makes sense.
There are the abused and the abusers and they are both in need of help. Although they appear different, they are both coping in ways that make their world and our world worse. Both are, in some way, trying to fill a need.
Shifting someone’s energy takes time, but it’s simple: do it with love and kindness. It doesn’t mean you have to like them. It means you are respecting their needs.
Doing even small things with kindness can make a big difference in what someone does next and that something could change their lives for the better.
For instance, let someone in a car cut into traffic or let the person behind you in line for coffee go ahead of you.
Smile.
Say good morning.
Ask someone how they are.
You never know the impact it can have.
The changes will not be instantaneous and you may never know, but you can’t go wrong if you’re being kind. It could cause a shift in perception, a different action or reaction that will change their thought pattern at that very moment.
It may make them wonder what you’re up to or what you know that makes you smile. What did they miss?
And that might make them smile, too, maybe for the first time that day.
